From Monday 19th July 2021, the Government's Legislation regarding Social Distancing etc. is no longer in force.
However, the vast majority of what was previously required by law is now included in the guidance for businesses in the hospitality sector. This makes it 'best practice', and we have an obligation under other enforceable legislation to provide a safe environment for both staff and customers - it is therefore in everyone's best interests that we follow that guidance.
Having given the matter due consideration, from 19th July:
We will continue with table service. Please wait at the entrance to be seated as has been the case since May. This is our preferred way of working and we ask that you support us.
If you feel you have to order drinks at the bar, please bear in mind the bar staff may already have a number of rounds to serve before they can get to you, just the same as if you were standing in a queue.
We have increased our seated capacity, but once all tables are occupied we will not be allowing anyone else in until seats become available.
Although the 'Rule of six' no longer applies, there are practical limits to the size of groups we can cater for.
Please continue to use the hand sanitiser.
You may book tables either by phone or in person. Please arrive within 10 minutes of your booked time, or the table may be released for other customers.
Privilege card discounts still apply and new cards can be purchased.
