Oasis Bar is on Southampton’s High Street right opposite the Dolphin Hotel. The High Street is set in the historic Old Town area, offering a surprising range of places to eat and drink all within convenient walking distance of each other. (See our We Recommend page).

Oasis is a family run affair, not quite a traditional local but with lots of regulars and staff who know their names and what they drink, not quite a wine bar but with a fine range on offer, not a full blown cocktail bar but our staff can usually create something you'll like to order, not really a night club but open til 0200 - and we're amongst the least expensive bars in town! 

Our dress code is relaxed: the staff often wear shorts and flipflops so it would be difficult to enforce daft rules about trainers and so on, and we understand that if you're on the way home from work, you'll be in your working clothes - all we ask is that our customers are well behaved, respect each other, our staff and the premises.

So, we're a bit quirky and proud of it. Anyone looking to be able enjoy a pleasant drink in a relaxed environment is most welcome. If we have a gimmick, it's that we offer quality drinks at sensible prices - our range of spirits is one of the largest in Southampton and we're looking to expand it soon.
