The grown up, relaxed alternative.
Normally if you hire a venue for a private party you end up in a room upstairs, perhaps with a small bar offering a restricted range of drinks. Not at Oasis: we hire you our street level bar complete with our patio area right on the High Street. You can either reserve part of the venue for which we don't charge, or for a night to remember you can book the entire bar for your private use. We're licensed for 120 people, but to be honest around 100 is more comfortable.
Sorry - we no longer take bookings for 18th birthdays.
We require a (fully refundable)* deposit for a whole venue booking but that covers our house DJ Sub-Lo and our friendly but firm door staff who will ensure your night is not spoiled.
If you want catering we can be flexible, providing a buffet ourselves or by arrangement you can bring your own.
Children are allowed in to private functions but please note that the law regarding the consumption and supply of alcohol will be strictly applied.
Subject to availability, we can arrange discounted accommodation for partygoers in the refurbished 3 Star Mercure Southampton Dolphin Hotel, directly opposite the bar on the High Street.
*Conditions apply - Minimum bar spend of £1000 required - that's 100 people having three or four drinks each during the evening.
